While the state legislature was locked in a battle over K-12 education funding, the Early Start Act was passed with bi-partisan support. It represents the largest investment in early learning in state history and could play a major role in improving academic success and closing the achievement gap.

In this edition of Northwest Now, we learn more about the Early Start Act, explore how your children can benefit, and discover how the Act’s accountability and measuring tools can help parents make the best decision on finding learning-focused child care.
