Beginning winter quarter, our library will pilot a new way to deliver student value in information literacy. Instructors can sign their classes up for a 30-minute instruction session, in which  students from multiple program areas learn together in the Downtown and South Campus Auditoriums.

These useful 30-minute sessions introduce techniques that provide value for all students in career training and general education programs. Student can watch and learn how to use powerful library tools to find the right information for assignments, or participate in a live demonstration of how to avoid plagiarism and cite information sources with our new online software, NoodleTools.

How do I sign my class up?

To reserve class space, you must pre-register. Sessions are scheduled at three convenient times on one day at each campus. To register, contact Librarian Mike Wood, mwood@bates.ctc.edu, x7301.
